Is in the oven. I’m sharing this method because I care about your well being.
I was sick and tired of bacon grease splattering everywhere and it ending up unevenly cooked or burned ’cause I wasn’t paying close enough attention. Don’t get me wrong, it was still fabulous, ’cause when is bacon not?
No more grease splattering everywhere…Now you can make bacon naked if you want to, weirdo, without getting grease…nevermind.
It turns out crispy, chewy, evenly perfect, the way bacon is meant and deserves to be.
Lay out bacon strips onto a foil lined baking sheet. Preferably on a cooling rack thing. If you don’t have one, lay the strips directly on the foil, & when the bacon is done, put cooked bacon on paper towels to soak up all the grease.
Put tray into a COLD oven. Set oven to 400 degrees and set your timer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, check on it & continue to cook until it is to your liking.
This batch took 13 minutes. The cooking time will depend on how thick the cut of bacon is and from oven to oven.
Bacon makes everything better. Hey! Anytime, anytime, you are so welcome.
