What’s all the hype about bacon? It’s dammmnnnn delicious and makes everything right in the world. Your coronary arteries might disagree. Shame on me cardiac nurse. It is my cross to bear. Obviously not something you would eat every day….maybe unless it’s all chopped up on a salad? Would that make it right? :/
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lay out strips of bacon (8) onto a foil lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle with some pepper for a lil’ bit of spice.
Sprinkle with some brown sugar for some sweetness.
And a smidgen of cinnamon (1/8 tsp) for some warmth. Put it between your thumb and index finger and rub together and sprinkle it on there.
Bake until nice and brown. About 15 minutes.
Take it out of the oven and drain each slice on paper towel for about 10-15 seconds. Don’t leave it there because it’s sticky and it won’t come off. Unless your okay with eating paper towel.
Delicious on it’s own or chop it up and put the bits on a salad, or on a burger.
