Every year I raid the clearance section of Sur La Table the week after Christmas for foodie glass ornaments! ‘Cause I’m cheap that way!
Anything shiny and new, like a moth to a flame, my little booboomunchkin butt is all over this!
These cookies are everything a cookie should be. And I have been eating them every year during Christmas since the Dark Ages. This recipe makes a lot of dozens and they are perfect to give away to neighbors, friends, family, or what have you!
Cream together sugar and butter.
Add in the eggs, vanilla, milk, and peanut butter.
And mix until creamy.
In another bowl, mix your dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking soda.
Add into the peanut butter mix in 3 different parts and mix until all incorporated.
Put the dough in the fridge, preheat your oven, and clean up your mess (This is an old photo but when I think of stressful gawdawful mess, I’m reminded of this horrific tupperware cabinet) that has since been cleaned out by the way!!
Don’t forget to cut your marshmallows in half and peel the paper off the chocolates.
Roll cookies into balls
and roll in sugar.
Place on baking sheet
and press slightly with a fork.
Bake 8-10 minutes (mine took 9 minutes), remove and press marshmallow on top of each cookie.
Bake for another minute. Remove from the oven and add your kiss!
